We are working on behalf of a specialist care organisation in Chertsey, Surrey, who is looking for a Care and Support Specialist to join their team. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities and autism. As a Care and Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support that enables our service users to achieve greater independence and career progression.

The ideal candidate will have a friendly, caring approach and a genuine desire to help others. You will also possess excellent communication skills, patience, and a sense of humour. In return, you will be rewarded with a competitive salary of £25,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for training and development.

This role requires flexibility, including working days, nights, and sleep ins. However, you will be paid an enhanced rate for these shifts. Our client organisation prides itself on providing a supportive and inclusive work environment, where you can thrive and grow professionally.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • A minimum of 6 months' experience in a care or support setting
  • An NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Health and Social Care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
