Pediatrician Specialist for Inpatient Care

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatrician to join our team at Ashford and St. Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Chertsey, Surrey.
The successful candidate will work as part of our middle tier doctor rota, taking shifts including days, nights, and weekends, to ensure the smooth running of our inpatient and A&E department.
Responsibilities include participating in out-patient clinics, supporting junior trainees, and liaising closely with nursing staff and attending/on call Consultants.
The Consultant Team participates in a weekly attending system, working closely with junior medical staff to assess urgent referrals.

To achieve these standards, we have a well-established Clinical Governance structure, incorporating Mortality and Morbidity, Safeguarding Peer Review, and SIRI/Complaints meetings.

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £60,000 - £100,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
