Pastoral Lead Vacancy in Hackney

Unity Education Limited is seeking a skilled and experienced Pastoral Lead to join our team in Hackney. In this role, you will play a key part in creating a safe and supportive learning environment, promoting high standards of behaviour, and raising student attainment.

The Responsibilities: Pastoral Lead

We are looking for a candidate with excellent leadership skills, the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents, and a strong understanding of behaviour management principles. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Developing and delivering behaviour improvement plans.
  2. Working closely with teachers to identify and address student needs.
  3. Providing individualised pastoral support to students.
  4. Collaborating with the School Safeguarding Team to ensure student well-being.
  5. Leading initiatives to promote good attendance and punctuality.
  6. Supporting staff to develop their behaviour management skills.
  7. Managing the Pastoral Support Room and other provisions.
About Our Institution

The salary for this position is £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, and includes a range of benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
