About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Operations Analyst to join our Finance team at Haribo UK. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing financial insights and analysis to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and manage factory fixed costs, including energy, depreciation, and labor
  • Manage the operational CAPEX process, including group submission, payback calculations, business cases, pre/post project tracking, and new warehouse build
  • Support factory improvement projects, including identifying and tracking operational waste
  • Provide daily production and packing reporting
  • Develop and maintain factory KPI reporting, including BDE
  • Contribute to capacity planning and provide financial support for commercial decision-making
  • Develop and maintain a wide range of reporting to support business performance
  • Build partnerships with senior managers and their teams
  • Provide pre and post-project calculations to aid business decisions
  • Support company-wide process changes and improvements
  • Carry out month-end actuals, dynamic forecasting, latest business estimates, and annual budgets
  • Provide variance analysis and bridges to support understanding of business performance
  • Assist with year-end audits, maintain involvement with group requests, and complete external reporting as required
Requirements
  • CIMA or ACCA qualified Accountant with experience working in a large and complex organization
  • Experience working in the food manufacturing industry is desirable but not essential
  • Strong Excel skills and analytical abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Naturally proactive and inquisitive with a positive, professional, and confident manner
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
