Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Operations Analyst to join our Finance team at HARIBO UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing financial insights and analysis to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own factory fixed costs, including energy, depreciation, and labor
  • Manage the operational CAPEX process, including group submission, payback calculations, business cases, pre/post-project tracking, and the new warehouse build
  • Support factory improvement projects, including identifying and tracking operational waste
  • Provide daily production and packing reporting
  • Develop and maintain factory KPI reporting, including BDE
  • Contribute to capacity planning and provide support with product costings, the annual standard costing process, and works expenses
  • Develop and provide a wide range of reporting to support business performance understanding
  • Build partnerships with senior managers and their teams while providing financial support to commercial decision-making
  • Provide pre- and post-calculations to aid business decisions
  • Support company-wide process changes and improvements
  • Carry out month-end actuals, dynamic forecasting, latest business estimates, and annual budgets
  • Provide variance analysis and bridges to support business performance understanding
  • Assist with year-end audits, maintain involvement with group requests, and complete external reporting as needed

Requirements:

  • CIMA or ACCA qualified Accountant with experience working in a large and complex organization
  • Experience working in the food manufacturing industry is desirable but not essential
  • Strong Excel skills and analytical abilities
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the Finance team and other areas of the business
  • Good time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage a busy and varied desk
  • Naturally proactive and inquisitive, with a positive, professional, and confident manner
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
