We are seeking an experienced Senior Analyst- Operations to join our Finance team at HARIBO UK. This is a fantastic opportunity to add value to your career and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Owning factory fixed costs, including energy, depreciation, and labor
  • Managing the operational CAPEX process, including group submission, payback calculations, business cases, pre/post project tracking, and the new warehouse build
  • Supporting factory improvement projects, including identifying and tracking operational waste
  • Daily production and packing reporting
  • Factory KPI reporting, including BDE
  • Capacity planning
  • Providing support with product costings, the annual standard costing process, and works expenses
  • Providing a wide range of reporting to support our understanding of business performance
  • Developing ways to improve transparency of numbers reported
  • Building partnerships with senior managers and their teams while providing financial support to commercial decision making
  • Providing pre and post calculations to aid with business decisions
  • Supporting company-wide process changes and improvements
  • Carrying out month-end actuals, dynamic forecasting, latest business estimates, and annual budgets
  • Providing a wide range of reporting, variance analysis, and bridges to support understanding of business performance
  • Assisting with year-end audits, maintaining involvement with group requests, and completing external reporting where appropriate

Requirements:

  • CIMA or ACCA qualified Accountant with experience working in a large and complex organization
  • Experience working in the food manufacturing industry (not essential)
  • Excel guru with strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Good time management skills and organizational abilities
  • Naturally proactive and inquisitive, with a positive, professional, and confident manner
  • Comfortable working independently and within a team
