About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Nazareth Care Charitable Trust. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To provide personal care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living activities such as washing, dressing, and toileting.
  • To work collaboratively with the care team to monitor residents' health needs and provide appropriate support and care.
  • To maintain accurate and up-to-date records of residents' care plans and progress.
  • To provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting their dignity and well-being.
  • To work effectively as part of a team, communicating with colleagues and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care delivery.

About You

We are looking for a caring and empathetic individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional care. As a Care Assistant, you will have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be able to relate to people from diverse backgrounds and provide support that is tailored to individual needs.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a care setting, preferably in a similar role.
  • Qualifications in Health and Social Care, such as an S/NVQ Level 2, or willingness to undertake training.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
