Job Summary

The Hazelwell Care Home is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as toileting, feeding, and mobility
  • Encourage residents to maintain their independence and engage in activities that promote their physical and mental well-being
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and activities

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification
  • Experience working in a care setting, preferably in a residential or nursing home environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team
  • DBS clearance
