About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Nazareth Care Charitable Trust. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To provide personal care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living activities such as washing, dressing, and toileting.
  • To work collaboratively with the care team to monitor residents' health needs and provide appropriate support and care.
  • To maintain accurate and up-to-date records of residents' care plans and progress.
  • To provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting their dignity and well-being.
  • To work effectively as part of a team, communicating with colleagues and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care delivery.

About You

We are looking for a caring and empathetic individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional care. As a Care Assistant, you will have the ability to work well under pressure, think critically, and make sound judgments. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a care setting, preferably in a similar role.
  • Qualifications in Health and Social Care, such as an S/NVQ Level 2.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Enhanced DBS disclosure.
