Job Summary:

The Hazelwell Care Home is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as toileting, feeding, and mobility
  • Develop and maintain relationships with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals
  • Participate in care planning and implementation, ensuring individualized care plans are met
  • Contribute to a safe and respectful environment, promoting dignity and well-being for all residents

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification
  • Transferable skills and a genuine interest in working with the elderly
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and residents
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and bank holidays

What We Offer:

  • Competitive hourly rate of £11.44
  • Contracted hours of 48 per week, with paid breaks
  • Pension scheme and 5.6 weeks annual leave
  • DBS clearance and uniform provided
