Senior Mental Health Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mental Health Therapist to join our team at the Kent & Medway NHS & Social Care Partnership Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified therapist to work with adults with complex emotional difficulties.
About the RoleThis is a challenging yet rewarding role, which requires the successful candidate to manage a caseload of approximately 16 patients in treatment. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering high-quality specialist psychological assessments and therapy groups.
You will be responsible for undertaking therapeutic interventions, including MBT-informed/psychodynamic therapy groups, small psychotherapy groups, community meetings, and other therapeutic groups. Additionally, you will assess and manage clinical risk, identify and respond to safeguarding concerns, and provide group clinical supervision to colleagues.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a relevant professional qualification, such as a degree in Psychology or a related field. You must also have experience in working with adults with complex emotional difficulties and have knowledge of psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral therapies.
Salary and BenefitsThe salary for this role is £62,215 - £72,293 per annum, which is inclusive of a range of benefits. These include access to ongoing training and development opportunities, a comprehensive pension scheme, and flexible working arrangements.
