Job Title: Cloud Consultant

At Telefonica Tech, we're seeking a seasoned Cloud Consultant to join our team of experts. As a key member of our Cloud practice, you will play a critical role in helping our clients navigate the complexities of cloud adoption and optimization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with clients to understand their business goals, technical requirements, and challenges related to cloud adoption.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' existing infrastructure, applications, and workloads to identify opportunities for migration, optimization, and transformation.
  • Develop comprehensive cloud strategies aligned with clients' business objectives, considering factors such as scalability, security, compliance, and cost optimization.
  • Design scalable and resilient cloud architectures tailored to clients' specific needs, leveraging best practices and cloud-native technologies.
  • Define migration roadmaps and strategies for transitioning applications and workloads to the cloud, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and optimization within clients' cloud environments through rightsizing, instance reservations, and other optimization techniques.
  • Advise clients on best practices for ensuring the security, compliance, and governance of their cloud environments, including data protection and access controls.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to clients' teams throughout the cloud adoption lifecycle, including implementation, testing, and ongoing optimization.

Requirements:
  • Experience leading conversations with clients at a high and low level.
  • Demonstrated experience as a team or project leader in a complex cloud environment.
  • Experience and strong understanding in Azure, AWS, GCP, and Private Cloud.
  • Expert understanding of cloud technologies, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, as well as cloud-native services such as containers, serverless computing, and microservices architecture.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including a strong ability to create positive and professional business relationships with partners and client stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Professional Cloud Architect are highly desirable.
