Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business Support Team Leader to join our team in Exeter or Tiverton. This full-time role involves providing day-to-day line management of a team of up to eight administrative staff, overseeing administrative functions, and contributing to the wider Business Support teams as required.

About the Role
This is a 30-hour per week position, working weekdays only. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage a team effectively and work collaboratively with colleagues. They will also possess good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day line management of a team of up to eight administrative staff
- Oversee all administrative functions and ensure effective team performance
- Contribute to the wider Business Support teams as required
- Manage workload, performance, absence, annual leave, appraisals, and HR issues

Essential Requirements
- GCSEs or equivalent
- Relevant administrative or IT qualification (ECDL, RSA, NVQ)
- Qualification in supervisory or line management or relevant experience to NVQ 4 level

Desirable Requirements
- NVQ Level 4 or equivalent experience
- Qualification in supervisory or line management or relevant experience
