Teaching and Learning Support Specialist

We are looking for a highly skilled Teaching and Learning Support Specialist to join our team at an SEN school in Waterlooville. As a Teaching and Learning Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting students with special educational needs, helping them to overcome learning barriers and develop essential skills.
About the PositionYou will work closely with teachers to deliver targeted learning programs that cater to the unique needs of each student. This may involve providing one-on-one and group support, as well as teaching and reinforcing effective study techniques.
Main Responsibilities and Requirements- Collaborate with Teachers: Work with teachers to create personalized learning plans that address the specific needs of each student.
- Provide Interventions: Offer individual and small group interventions to help students improve their learning outcomes.
- Teach Study Techniques: Teach and reinforce effective study techniques, helping students to understand and engage with their studies.
Prior experience in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is essential. The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications or training in education or Special Educational Needs (SEN). A strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection is also required.

The estimated salary for this role is £12.72 per hour, depending on experience.
