Austin Fraser is a leading recruitment agency partnering with a renowned educational institution to find an exceptional HR Administrator.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality HR services, fostering a positive work environment, and supporting colleagues in delivering excellent outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for HR queries and provide guidance on policies and procedures
  • Produce and issue various HR documents using templates
  • Support the preparation of reports and data for committees as required
  • Build and maintain effective relationships across the organization
  • Coordinate recruitment tasks, including shortlisting, advertising, and interview coordination
  • Manage pre-interview and pre-employment checks, as well as inductions
  • Maintain personnel files and HR records in line with best practice
  • E nsure diversity, inclusion, and wellbeing are integral components throughout the employee lifecycle
  • Manage leave requests, return-to-work processes, and informal absence meetings
  • Implement and complete high-quality inductions
  • Support administrative tasks before, during, and after formal meetings
  • Collaborate with People Business Partners on casework management
  • Regularly update the payroll system and process expenses, mileage, and overtime claims accurately and on time
  • Participate in Job Evaluation Panels

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as an HR administrator, preferably in the education sector
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a collaborative approach
  • High level of IT literacy, proficient in MS Office
  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills as part of a team
  • Confident in managing, developing, and operating admin systems and procedures
  • Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to promote equality and diversity within the organization
  • Familiarity with GDPR and importance of confidentiality

Salary:

£85 per hour
