As a Design Engineer in our Ulverston team, you'll play a crucial role in translating concepts into practical design solutions. With a strong focus on innovation and collaboration, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions under senior guidance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and refine design concepts, ensuring seamless integration of various aspects.
- Deliver technical solutions to assist with the manufacture of our products, under the guidance of senior team members.
- Collaborate with Product Design teams to optimise designs for production.
- Generate accurate detailed technical drawings and models for components and assemblies.
- Assist in the creation of procurement specifications and supplier discussions.
Requirements
- Proficiency in design software (2D & 3D CAD) and file management tools (e.g. Teamcenter).
- Good understanding of Engineering Principles.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing techniques.
- Demonstrated experience in an engineering environment.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Mechanical Engineering HNC or equivalent experience.
Estimated Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum
