Senior Structural Engineer Position

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at ZipRecruiter. As a key member of our Specialist Structures Department, you will be responsible for leading the engineering assessments of designs in support of build.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural steel analysis and design, with experience in utilizing Eurocodes and British Standards. You should also have excellent knowledge of mechanical engineering, structural steelwork, and lifting handling.
Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage your expertise in structural steel analysis and design to drive innovation and improvement within the team
- Collaborate with designers to produce equipment and/or support operation in production to produce safety-critical equipment
- Conduct thorough reviews and checks of design outputs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Maintain a high level of technical expertise and stay up-to-date with industry developments
- Develop and implement efficient processes to streamline design and engineering workflows
About You

Requirements:
- BEng/MEng degree in Civil/Mechanical/Structural Engineering or equivalent experience
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or Incorporated Engineer (IEng) status nearing CEng status
- Expertise in structural steel analysis and design, including Eurocodes and British Standards
- Excellent knowledge of mechanical engineering, structural steelwork, and lifting handling
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
