Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need an Engineering Degree (BEng/MEng or equivalent) or HND with extensive years' experience in Civil/Mechanical/Structural Based fields. Essential skills include hand analysis and design techniques, report writing, understanding of Eurocodes and British Standards, good understanding of mechanical engineering, structural steelwork and knowledge of lifting handling and LOLER.

Additional Requirements

  • Working knowledge of ABAQUS (Software), S-Frame, Foran, MathCAD and excel.
  • Member of Professional Institution - IMechE, ICE, IStructE. Incorporated Engineer IEng Status or Working towards Incorporated Status with the aim of progressing to Chartered Engineer CEng Status.
