Senior Structural Engineering Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our team at BAE Systems, responsible for the analysis and design of complex steel structures. The ideal candidate will have experience in utilising Eurocodes, British Standards, and BAE standards to support submarine build.
As a Senior Engineer, you will be working with a dual-function team consisting of 14 people at various seniority levels. You will be responsible for engineering assessments of designs in support of build and will work in conjunction with design to produce equipment and/or support operation in production.
Key Responsibilities- Analysis and design of complex steel structures utilising Eurocodes, British Standards, and BAE standards
- Utilise knowledge of specific regulations & requirements beyond that used within BAE Systems
- Supporting manufacturing, assembly, lifting, handling, and installation processes of Submarine Structures, Modules, and Components
