Job Description

We're seeking a talented Design Engineer to join our team in Ulverston. As a key member of our product development team, you'll be responsible for developing and refining design concepts, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering technical solutions under senior guidance.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Product Design teams to develop and refine design concepts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of various aspects.
  • Deliver technical solutions to assist with the manufacture of our products, under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Generate accurate detailed technical drawings and models for components and assemblies.

What You'll Need

  • Proficiency in design software (2D & 3D CAD) and file management tools (e.g. Teamcenter).
  • Good understanding of Engineering Principles.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing techniques.
  • Demonstrated experience in an engineering environment.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Mechanical Engineering HNC or equivalent experience.

Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum
