Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced social care professional to join our team as a Adult Social Care Specialist. This role is based in Buckinghamshire and will involve working closely with adults, their families, and relevant stakeholders to improve outcomes and promote independence.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Care Act 2014 and relevant statutory frameworks. They will be able to work effectively with adults and their families to develop strength-based plans and provide high-quality professional casework services.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Be an ambassador for adult social care services both internally and externally.
  2. Work with adults and their families to understand their needs and wishes and develop strength-based plans.
  3. Apply relevant statutory frameworks to promote independence and autonomy while balancing risks and the needs of others.
  4. Provide high-quality professional casework services, managing a caseload within a framework of appropriate supervision.
