English Heritage is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Volunteer Programmes Lead to join our team. As a permanent, full-time member of staff, you will work 36 hours per week and be responsible for leading the development and implementation of effective volunteer management strategies.

About the Role:
  • To design and implement new volunteering opportunities that meet the needs of the local community, current sector trends, and site requirements.
  • To lead the delivery of the volunteer programme across all areas of our work.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of volunteer management, excellent leadership and management skills, and a passion for promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.

What We Offer:
  • A salary of £29,343 per annum, depending on skills, experience, and location.
  • A comprehensive benefits package including 25 days' holiday plus Bank Holidays pro rata rising to 28 days after 3 years.
