About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Community Development Programme Manager to lead our skills-based volunteering programme at BIG Alliance. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in facilitating the development and delivery of this programme.

As a Community Development Programme Manager, you will be responsible for designing and delivering employee volunteering activities that meet community needs, developing relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders in the community, and supporting the delivery of all business skills activity and wider BIG Alliance programmes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with community partners, corporate partners, and BIG team to design and deliver employee volunteering activities that meet community needs.
  • Develop relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders in the community, including the local authority and community infrastructure support organisations.
  • Support the delivery of all business skills activity and wider BIG Alliance programmes.
  • Market volunteering programmes to BIG Alliance corporate partners and source, place, and manage cohorts of corporate volunteers.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of regeneration programmes and local authority priorities in Islington.
  • Experience in project management, including monitoring and evaluation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

We offer a competitive salary of £57,000 - £62,000 per annum, depending on experience. This includes a generous benefits package, including flexible working arrangements, above-average maternity and paternity pay, and a comprehensive pension scheme.
