Strategic Volunteer Programme Lead

As a Strategic Volunteer Programme Lead, you will play a key role in driving the development of innovative volunteering approaches within our client's forward-thinking and compassionate organisation.
The successful candidate will have experience in volunteer programme development, ideally within the health or community sector, and a strong understanding of health inequalities.
You will be responsible for designing, launching, and evaluating volunteer roles that address health challenges and foster a volunteer community reflective of the wider population.
This includes engaging with underrepresented groups to create a more inclusive and diverse volunteering network.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage volunteer programmes to improve patient experiences and address community health challenges
- Build relationships with community partners to support the development of volunteering initiatives
- Ensure volunteers receive high-quality support and experiences within community sites
About You
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Experience developing and managing volunteer programmes
- A strong understanding of health inequalities and experience in addressing diversity and inclusion
- Excellent project management and organisational skills
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders

The estimated salary for this role is £38,908 - £43,004 per annum, with potential progression based on performance.
