Volunteering Programme Manager

We are the Canal & River Trust, a charity that looks after and brings to life 2,000 miles of waterways across England and Wales. We believe that life is better by water.
Main Responsibilities:- Lead volunteers in the delivery of works safely and to a high standard, ensuring volunteer satisfaction.
- Understand the needs of our waterways, both operationally and strategically, providing background information for programme development.
- Coordinate staff, vehicles, and equipment for efficient volunteer work delivery.
- Promote a strong safety culture to ensure all works are completed with safety as a priority.
- Practical skills and experience in manual/construction/outdoor work.
- Countryside practice and vegetation skills may be an advantage.
- A valid UK driving license is essential.
- Salary: £31,220 per annum (inclusive of £4,000 Inner London Allowance).
- A competitive contributory DC Pension scheme arrangement.
- 25 days paid holiday (plus paid Bank Holidays), increasing to 30 days after 5 years.

The estimated salary for this role is around £31,220 per year, based on national averages and considering the job requirements and location.
