Sales Professional in Biotechnology

Quorum Technologies Ltd is seeking a skilled Sales Professional to join our team. As a Sales Professional in Biotechnology, you will be responsible for generating sales and technical support for our products across global distributor territories. Daily tasks will include tender submissions, lead generation, quotations, negotiation, answering technical queries, and checking purchase orders.
You will develop and maintain relationships with distributors and end-users to promote products, close deals, and grow sales. Perform sales calls, vendor relations, and research competitor and industry activity to inform business planning. Manage pricing, prepare quotations, and submit price lists to distributors. Inform distributors of supply and price trends, assist with inventory control, and maintain end-user databases. Report sales performance, submit expense claims, and attend sales meetings and training sessions.
Essential qualifications include a degree in a scientific field or equivalent practical experience. You should have experience selling scientific equipment and the ability to use and demonstrate EM sample preparation equipment. Strong communication and computer literacy skills are required, as well as the ability to cope with changing demands and prioritize tasks. Preferred qualifications include experience with SAP BI and B2B customer-facing positions, as well as an understanding of vacuum technology and the UK scientific community.
Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
