About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled sales professional to leverage their expertise in capital equipment sales to drive business growth. As a Scientific Sales Manager, you will be responsible for generating sales from existing and new key accounts, working closely with a small team to deliver sales and marketing targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customer accounts, identifying opportunities to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Manage existing relationships with key customers, ensuring ongoing business growth and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales and marketing targets, utilizing effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Foster a deep understanding of electron microscopy and related analytical techniques to effectively communicate product value to customers.
  • Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand existing customer base.

Requirements

  • Degree qualified in a Scientific or Engineering discipline, demonstrating a high level of academic achievement.
  • Prior experience selling capital equipment, preferably in the scientific industry, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
