Culinary Program Coordinator Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Culinary Program Coordinator to join our team at JCC Greater Boston. In this dynamic role, you will play a key part in shaping the culinary experience for our campers, working closely with our chefs and kitchen staff to plan and deliver exceptional meals and snacks.

Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing food service strategies, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. You will also collaborate with other departments to integrate culinary activities into our overall camp program.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement food service strategies to ensure high-quality meals are prepared and served.
  2. Work closely with chefs and kitchen staff to plan and deliver meals and snacks.
  3. Manage kitchen operations, including inventory management and vendor relations.
  4. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Requirements:

  1. High school graduate.
  2. Minimum 2 years experience in food service operations, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
  3. Current ServSafe certification (or ability/willingness to get).
  4. Basic knowledge of Kashrut/willingness to learn and implement Kosher standards.

Salary: $25 per hour
