Sales Support Coordinator

Job Overview:
Pertemps Daventry is seeking to hire a skilled Full or Part-time Sales Support Coordinator for a reputable organization.
Working Hours: Full-time Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week / Part-time 25 hours per week - all office-based.
Role Objective:
To deliver comprehensive administrative assistance to the sales department, which encompasses managing customer inquiries, preparing and following up on sales proposals, and maintaining organized filing systems for quotations.
Compensation: Salary is commensurate with experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Efficiently manage and respond to all email and telephone sales inquiries received in the office.
2. Prepare and follow up on sales proposals for clients.
3. Assist Sales Managers in generating reports and organizing data from internal administrative systems.
4. Foster strong customer relationships by acting as an extension of the field sales team.
5. Coordinate with other departments, such as Operations, to ensure services meet client needs.
6. Maintain an effective filing and administrative system to support the Sales Team, keeping track of pending proposals and bids.
7. Stay informed about our products and services.
8. Organize all pending proposals and requirements efficiently.
9. Perform any additional duties as assigned by the company.
Desired Knowledge and Skills:
1. A solid educational background, including formal qualifications in Mathematics and English - GCSE or equivalent.
2. At least two years of experience in sales administration or order processing.
3. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
4. Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
5. Service-oriented with a keen attention to detail, capable of meeting deadlines under pressure.
6. Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively to meet required standards.
7. A professional and proactive approach to customer service.
8. Compliance with all company policies, including Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards.
Employee Benefits:
1. Holiday entitlement of 20 days plus 8 bank holidays, increasing by one day for each year of service after two years, up to a maximum of 26 days plus 8 bank holidays.
