Sales Support Coordinator
Salary negotiable based on experience

Location: Daventry, Northants

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM & Friday 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Position Type: Permanent

Our well-established client in Daventry is seeking to hire a permanent Sales Support Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Acting as a friendly and professional first point of contact for all external communications.
  • Accurately processing sales orders in a timely manner, including sending order confirmations with precise shipment dates.
  • Handling credit card transactions through a virtual terminal.
  • Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and relevant details in the company’s contact database (Microsoft Dynamics 365).
  • Coordinating the release of orders for shipment to the warehouse efficiently.
  • Communicating delivery date changes and updates to customers as necessary.
  • Resolving customer issues while ensuring effective communication until resolution is achieved.
  • Generating and following up on quotations for customer needs, recording feedback, and collaborating with management to stay competitive.
  • Gradually acquiring technical product knowledge and applications.
  • When necessary, delivering and restocking consignment cupboards at customer locations.
  • Sourcing requested items from existing vendors and beyond when required.
  • Placing purchase orders with suppliers for special orders and drop shipments.
  • Processing documentation for system-generated inventory purchase orders.
  • Accurately recording vendor interactions and details in the company ERP system (Microsoft Navision).
  • Continuously developing technical product knowledge and applications.
  • Being fully knowledgeable about the works order system and office procedures.
  • Assisting team members with transactions in other departments as needed.
  • Contributing to the overall development of the business.

Candidate Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a customer service role is essential.
  • Dependable with strong organizational skills, enthusiastic, and diligent.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Willingness to learn and train on the technical aspects of our client's products.
