Job Title: Full Time Senior Residential Support Worker

Location: Children and Young People

This is a fantastic opportunity to join Semester, a leading provider of care to children and young people in the area.

Essential Criteria:

  • Must have experience working with young people, in a support capacity, minimum 12 months.
  • For a senior position, you will also need a Level 3 in Children and Young People or Health and Social Care.
  • Full UK Driving License is essential with Business Insurance.

Job Details:

This full-time role involves supporting children in a residential unit. You will be responsible for providing ongoing support and monitoring of service users, conducting welcome and induction for young people, and informing them of support groups.

Responsibilities:

  • To be responsible for the provision of support for vulnerable people (service users) for Semester.
  • Provide ongoing support and monitoring of service users.
  • Inform service users of support groups.
  • Effectively use IT packages to support the work of Semester.
  • Pro-actively assist in the development of policies and procedures of Semester.
  • Report any housing issues to the services department and assist, where required, in the resolution of any defects.
  • Participate, where required, in office reception duties.
  • Be prepared to work with service users on a 1/1 basis or support groups of 3 young people 24/7 where sleep-in shifts are required.

Benefits:

Negotiable salary: £38,000 per annum.
