Community Intervention Specialist

**About the Role:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Community Intervention Specialist at the Lancashire Child and Youth Justice Service.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing high-risk children and young people in the community and custody, planning and implementing interventions to address risk and promote positive outcomes. They will also manage Out Of Court Disposals for children aged 17 years and above, ensuring relevant transition interventions are completed.
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced professional to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children and young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Interventions: Assess high-risk children and young people in the community and custody, and plan and implement interventions to address risk and promote positive outcomes.
- Case Management: Manage cases effectively, ensuring that all necessary steps are taken to support individuals and their families.
- Report Writing: Write clear and concise reports to document progress and identify areas for improvement.

The Lancashire Child and Youth Justice Service aims to improve outcomes for children, parents/carers, and families by preventing and reducing risk of offending and harm, leading to safer communities and fewer victims of crime.
Location: Accrington
Salary: £20.30 per hour (up to £26.45 Limited rate per hour)
