Social Care Worker

Job Overview:
Our Adult Services team is looking for a skilled and compassionate Care Support Specialist to join our team in Lancashire County Council. As a Care Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to adult service users who require care and support in their own homes, residential settings or out in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- To work closely with service users, families and carers to identify their needs and develop individualised care plans.
- To provide training and guidance to service users to enable them to lead independent lives.
- To promote independence and well-being through the delivery of person-centred care.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 18 months' experience in a similar role.
- An NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this role is £28,135 - £32,292 per annum, depending on experience.
