Salary

The estimated salary for this position is £24,027 per annum pro rata, based on a 23.33 hour workweek. This represents a competitive rate in line with industry standards.

Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Specialist Care Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will provide overnight support for individuals with learning disabilities and complex behavior needs. Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing individual night time support plans and agreed activities
  • Providing personal care, support with managing finances, administering medication, and ensuring people's needs are met in terms of health and positive outcomes
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality support services

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively as part of a team, and demonstrate a person-centered approach to care.

Required Skills and Qualifications

A strong understanding of disability support principles and practices is essential for this role. While experience working with adults with learning disabilities is desirable, we offer comprehensive training and support to ensure candidates can excel in this position. Successful applicants will also be required to complete the QCF Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care within two years of employment.
