Job Title: Community Support Specialist

About the Role:

We are a Supported Living Provider seeking an experienced support worker to join our team. As a Community Support Specialist, you will work with our clients on a contracted basis, providing support and care in their daily lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and emotional support to clients with Autism, Learning Disabilities, and non-verbal clients
  • Support clients to access the community and engage in person-centred activities
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Drive clients to appointments and engage in community activities
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • At least 6 months of previous experience in the UK care sector, supporting individuals with physical and learning disabilities
  • Valid UK driving license and business insurance
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
