We are seeking a highly skilled Community Development Coordinator to join our team in the Preston area. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives by helping them overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

About the Role

The Community Development Coordinator will be responsible for engaging with local stakeholders, building relationships, and driving referrals to our programme. You will work closely with Local Authorities, JobCentre Plus, and voluntary services to deliver excellent results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Local Authorities, JobCentre Plus, and voluntary services.
  • Drive referrals to our programme through effective engagement and relationship-building.
  • Liaise regularly with JCP Work Coaches and other referral agents to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Integrate with local community and health organisations to drive referrals and support participants.
  • Facilitate welcome sessions, job fairs, and local events to promote our programme and drive outcomes.
  • Provide regular feedback to JCP colleagues on participant progress and success stories.
  • Manage relationships with external partners, including offender management, housing, skills providers, and Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) providers.
  • Create an ecosystem of wrap-around support to meet individual participant needs.
