Healthy Communities Instructor Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced instructor to join our team at Places Leisure. As a Healthy Communities Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering sustainable Healthy Communities projects and programs that deliver measurable impact for the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and manage a range of sustainable Healthy Communities projects/programs that deliver measurable impact for the community.
  • Complete any monitoring and evaluation requested by line manager in line with current data protection protocols.
  • In line with relevant training / qualifications held, deliver specific Healthy community project/program, e.g. Exercise Referral, gym-based classes, falls prevention, according to the parameter discussed with line manager.

Requirements:

  • Qualified instructor in relevant discipline to deliver sessions independently.
  • Experienced in planning, delivering and monitoring sessions.
  • Passion for improving the health of the local community.
  • Ability to use MS tools.
