Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Central London Community Health Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our community services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in supervising and guiding therapy assistants and support workers in providing patient care and support.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to improve patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care and achieve shared goals.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in occupational therapy.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
  • Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Relevant work experience in a community or clinical setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience working in a community health trust or similar organization.
  • Knowledge of community-based care and support services.
  • Ability to speak multiple languages (dependent on the needs of the service).
