About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified Occupational Therapist to develop their skills and knowledge in a supportive and friendly team environment. You will work under the guidance of senior Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists, with opportunities to experience working in a range of partner settings and develop your supervisory skills.
Key Responsibilities- Assist Specialist Occupational Therapists in supervising and providing guidance to therapy assistants and key workers.
- Delegating tasks to therapy assistants and technical instructors, with guidance from senior staff.
- Working with other healthcare professionals on joint assessments, patient goals, and treatment programmes.
- Undertaking comprehensive assessments, planning, and formulating individual management and/or treatment programmes.
- Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current AHP with UK HCPC registration.
- Relevant work experience in a variety of clinical placements.
- Evidence of up-to-date CPD.
- Experience of working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- A comprehensive induction into the community service, followed by a local induction to introduce you to the role.
