Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our Harrow Community Therapy Service. As a Band 5 Occupational Therapist, you will work closely with our team to provide high-quality care to patients in the community.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified Occupational Therapist to develop their skills and knowledge in a supportive and friendly team environment. You will work under the guidance of senior Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists, with opportunities to experience working in a range of partner settings and develop your supervisory skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Specialist Occupational Therapists in supervising and providing guidance to therapy assistants and key workers.
  • Delegating tasks to therapy assistants and technical instructors, with guidance from senior staff.
  • Working with other healthcare professionals on joint assessments, patient goals, and treatment programmes.
  • Undertaking comprehensive assessments, planning, and formulating individual management and/or treatment programmes.
Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current AHP with UK HCPC registration.
  • Relevant work experience in a variety of clinical placements.
  • Evidence of up-to-date CPD.
  • Experience of working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
