Job Summary

We are seeking a newly qualified Occupational Therapist to join our Harrow Community Therapy Service. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills in a friendly and supportive environment.

About the Role

As an Occupational Therapist in our service, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to our patients. You will be responsible for assessing patients' needs, developing and implementing treatment plans, and evaluating their progress.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist Specialist Occupational Therapists in supervising and providing guidance to therapy assistants and key workers.
  • Delegating tasks to therapy assistants and technical instructors with guidance from senior staff.
  • Working with other healthcare professionals on joint assessments, patient goals, and treatment programmes.
  • Undertaking comprehensive assessments, planning and formulating individual management and/or treatment programmes.
Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current AHP with UK HCPC registration.
  • Relevant work experience in a variety of clinical placements.
  • Evidence of up to date CPD.
  • Experience of working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
