Job Summary

We are seeking a newly qualified Occupational Therapist to join our Harrow Community Therapy Service. As a Band 5 Occupational Therapist, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a friendly and supportive team environment.

About the Role

As an Occupational Therapist, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centred care to individuals in the community. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting Specialist Occupational Therapists in supervising and providing guidance to therapy assistants and key workers
  • Delegating tasks to therapy assistants and technical instructors with guidance from senior staff
  • Working with other healthcare professionals on joint assessments, patient goals, and treatment programmes
  • Undertaking comprehensive assessments, planning, and formulating individual management and/or treatment programmes

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current AHP with UK HCPC registration
  • Relevant work experience in a variety of clinical placements
  • Evidence of up to date CPD
  • Experience of working as part of an MDT
  • Use of functional assessment and activity analysis
