Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Central London Community Health Trust. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our community services.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in supervising and providing guidance to therapy assistants and support staff to promote understanding of therapy intervention and ensure coordinated patient care.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals on joint assessments, patient goals, and treatment programs in a patient-centered approach.
- Undertake comprehensive assessments, plan, and formulate individual management and/or treatment programs using clinical reasoning methods.
- Implement therapeutic interventions, including analytical, investigative, organizational, and physical treatment skills.
- Carry out rehabilitation and care programs aimed at improving or maximizing independence and reflecting client goals established with the multidisciplinary team.

Requirements- Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification.
- Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Relevant work experience in a variety of clinical placements.
- Evidence of up-to-date Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
- Experience of working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Use of functional assessment and activity analysis.
- Registration with the HCPC.
- Previous employment as an Occupational Therapist, apprentice, or assistant.
- Experience of delegation to support staff.
- Maintain a professional approach at all times.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Able to provide evidence of where you have demonstrated the Trust's values and behaviors.
- Able to demonstrate excellence in customer service.
- Able to work both independently and with direct and indirect supervision.
