Job Overview

We are seeking a Registered Nursing Associate to undertake a further 12 months of study with the University of Chester to become a Registered Nurse. The programme commences in January and is delivered using a full-time study model.

Main Duties of the Job

The successful candidate will be required to maintain their nursing associate registration throughout this period of time. During the initial phase of the training programme, all work activities should be under direct guidance and supervision of the registered practitioner. As the training programme progresses, following discussion and agreement with mentors and supervisors, supervision and guidance will be both direct and indirect.

Person Specification

Qualifications and Professional Training

  • Registered Nursing Associate or Assistant Practitioner
  • Level 2 Functional Skills in maths or ESFA approved equivalent (GCSE Grade A-C/4-9)
  • Need to complete and pass all course modules and clinical competencies within contract period
