We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Child and Family-Focused Therapist to join our team at North Kent Mind. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in supporting children and young people struggling with mental health issues and their families.

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct thorough assessments, identifying client needs and developing personalized treatment plans that take into account the whole family's circumstances.
• Deliver engaging and effective therapy sessions, adapting to individual needs and circumstances.
• Maintain accurate records, ensuring continuity of care and informing treatment decisions.
• Collaborate with colleagues, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance service delivery.
• Participate in regular supervision, refining your skills and staying up-to-date with industry developments.
Requirements
• A recognized qualification in CBT or DBT, registered with the British Psychological Society, and additional training in child-centred and family-focused therapies.
• Proven experience working with children and young people in a therapeutic setting, with a focus on family involvement and collaboration.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Familiarity with cognitive-behavioural models, attachment theory, and family systems theory.
