We are seeking a highly skilled Behaviour Support mentor to join our team at Academics Ltd, a specialist school for students with SEMH needs.

About the Role

The Behaviour Support mentor will work with students displaying challenging and volatile behaviours, providing individualised support and interventions to promote positive outcomes.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver targeted interventions to address student's social and emotional difficulties and mental health challenges
  • Collaborate with the Class Teacher and Supporting staff to develop and implement effective behaviour management plans
Requirements and Qualifications

A background in Teaching Assistant, Mental Health, Childcare or Youth Worker is essential. The ideal candidate must have experience in managing challenging behaviours and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Hours and Salary

Full-time: 08:30 - 15:30, Monday - Friday. Estimated annual salary: £24,000.
