Business Development Manager for Industrial Sales

At Dover Corporation, we are seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to join our team in the South East of England. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing and developing customers within this geographic area, acquiring new business, and delivering relevant solutions to achieve sales targets.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a clear business plan for your territory, setting and achieving smart goals.
- Establish professional relationships with existing customers and prospect accounts, lead meetings and negotiations to pursue business opportunities.
- Maximize account revenue and achieve sales targets through effective account management, development, and acquisition.
- Implement company procedures, business rules, and tools to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements:
- A proven track record as an Account Manager/Area Sales Manager within an industrial B2B company is essential.
- You should possess knowledge of consultative sales techniques and value selling.
- Experience in managing sales in the assigned territory is necessary.
- You must be able to work remotely while maintaining your own initiative and efficient communication with the line manager and the team.
- Availability to travel on a regular basis is required.
Salary and Benefits:
- We offer a competitive salary ranging from £60,000 to £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
