Job Title: Clinical Leadership Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Leadership Specialist to join our team at George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and direction to our nursing teams, ensuring that patients receive safe and high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical leadership and direction to nursing teams, ensuring that patients receive safe and high-quality care.
  • Develop and implement nursing strategies to improve patient outcomes and experience.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
  • Manage and develop nursing staff, providing coaching and mentoring to support their professional growth and development.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote safe and effective care.
Requirements:
  • Registered General Nurse with current NMC registration.
  • Teaching and leadership qualifications, with experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on patient safety and quality care.
  • Knowledge of clinical governance and quality improvement methodologies.
