Job Title: Chief Clinical Officer

British Pregnancy Advisory Service (BPAS) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Clinical Officer to join our Executive Leadership Team. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping and driving our clinical strategy to ensure it aligns with our vision and mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the delivery of nursing, midwifery, medical, and surgical services, ensuring they meet the highest standards of patient safety and quality.
  • Develop and implement clinical governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams to improve operational performance, foster continuous learning, and enhance our impact.
  • Collaborate with trustees, C-suite, and Senior Operating Team members to drive organizational change and improvement.

About You:

We are looking for a leader who is deeply aligned with our values and mission, and who is committed to advancing our work in reproductive healthcare. You will bring expertise in clinical governance, patient safety, and operational performance, coupled with a deep understanding of healthcare planning and regulation. A formal management or leadership qualification, along with experience in a board-level role, is essential.
