Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Officer to join our team at the Scottish Police Authority. As a key member of our forensic services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient handling of productions within our environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the safety and security of all productions, including receipt, storage, transfer, and return.
  • Implement and maintain effective processes for the provision of production services, meeting agreed performance criteria and national standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide administrative and clerical support, ensuring seamless delivery of services.
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, guidelines, and best practices, including Health and Safety, COSHH, and contamination guidelines.
  • Work closely with the team to achieve our goals and objectives, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Education to SQA Higher level or equivalent, or relevant working experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience in providing administrative and clerical support in a service environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment, with a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
